It’s not always the makeup itself that makes you look beautiful, but also the condition of your skin.  Lately I’ve been getting really into skin care.  The foundation of a flawless made up face will be the skincare routine.  I was recently introduced to the Yves Saint Laurent Forever Youth Liberator Serum by celebrity make up artist Brittany of Nordstrom’s beauty department (here).  She suggested the YSL serum because it has anti-aging ingredients like glycanactif and also the serum brightens the skin and creates a glow.  With 100 years of research, 7 nobel prize mentions and with 2 out of 3 women choosing YSL serum I had to give it a try.  At $155 a bottle I opted for a couple of sample packs tom my beauty consultant and tried it for myself.  Personally, I really like this serum because of the lightweight feel on my skin and the wonderful apricot smell which is the signature smell of most of the YSL products.  During the day, I kept checking on my face and it seemed to do well with my oily T-zone area.  So far I am pleased with the serum but it’s too early to tell if I’d recommend it or would buy a full bottle.  I’ll be sure to update you dolls again about this serum with long term use.  One thing for sure is that I plan to start with anti-aging now instead of later.
